SkillsCommons is happy to kick off our regular posting on the new WorkforceGPS blog. We are here to help you successfully complete your TAACCCT grant project and contribute the grant-created OER into the SkillsCommons library effectively and efficiently.
Are you a ROUND 2 Project Leader?
The deadline for Round 2 TAACCCT Grantees to submit their grant deliverables to SkillsCommons is just a few months away. To help ensure your success in meeting this deadline along with satisfying the TAACCCT grant requirements related to CC-BY licensing, Accessibility, SME Reports, etc., SkillsCommons recommends the following tips.
First, if you haven’t already done so, please complete the SkillsCommons.org: New User Account form so a new account can be created for you on the SkillsCommons.org Repository, which will allow you to upload your grant deliverables.
Be sure your deliverables meet all of the TAACCCT grant requirements before you upload. Please review the resources provided on the Prepare Materials for Upload page in the SkillsCommons Support Services Center.

Once you have verified that your deliverables meet all of the TAACCCT grant requirements and you are ready to begin uploading, you will want to visit the Upload & Manage Materials page in the SkillsCommons Support Services Center.
SkillsCommons has prepared video tutorials and user guides that to help you with the uploading process. There is also a link to a webinar recording, which is viewable by clicking this link: Preparing Your Deliverables: - Creative Commons Attribution License and SkillsCommons.org
(This one is optional) After you have submitted 1 or 2 of your deliverables to SkillsCommons, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org along with the link to the submission, and I will personally review your submission and provide any feedback that may be necessary or helpful.
To support your completion of the TAACCCT grant requirements, SkillsCommons has provided several templates for grantees to voluntarily summarize the satisfaction of the requirements. You may review these voluntary templates on the Completing & Closing Out Your Grant page in the SkillsCommons Support Services Center.
Visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page in the SkillsCommons Support Services Center to find answers to many of the questions you may have about submitting your TAACCCT grant deliverables to SkillsCommons.
